Welcome!

Hi! I'm Holly, the reader and leader behind Little Readers, Future Leaders. I LOVE books and am passionate about sharing great book finds with kids, our future!

I'm a teacher with an early childhood education degree turned stay-at-home mom of three kiddos. The books that I share here are intentionally selected to be books that will help support kids, open minds, and, of course, develop that love for reading. I passionately believe readers and books are some of the essential keys to making our world a better place. When I see youth, I see hope on so many levels.

My goal at Little Readers, Future Leaders is to encourage the development of a love of reading! I will also share books that help with social-emotional learning, challenging topics, inspiring tales, relevant reads, and more that help build up leaders!

When I think of future leaders, I hope for a better tomorrow. The kids today are the ones who will one day be the writers of the future. Books are some of the essential helpers behind shaping leaders. Books help leaders develop empathy, connect with emotions, connect with others, learn new concepts/language, open imaginations, and spark ideas to tackle challenging issues. The world becomes a better place all around when we have more readers. An excellent place for those readers to start developing their love for reading is when they're little. If you are new here, thank you for prioritizing reading; you won't regret this fabulous gift!

I am very intentional with my selections. I use my educational background, years of experience working with kids, and in-depth knowledge of children's books to bring you the best books. I want to help your reader move forward, and I have just the books to help with that! Although most of the books I share here are picture books, when possible, I try to include excellent board books at the top of my lists and relevant chapter books at the bottom of my lists.

Thanks for visiting, and happy reading together!
